Your soundscape unquestioningly portrayed frustrating love. You did a great job matching the images to the audio to create somewhat of a story and symbolism of emotion. The frame with a red flaming heart over the background of the dark trees really gives me the impression of burning love that's fading away due to the background fading into the distance. This deep space could represent how strong the love was, and how far it has to go to completely die out.
ReplyDeleteThe audio goes perfectly with the images. Your use of different organization and instrumentation throughout the soundscape gets progressively more saddening, until the "I love you" which acted as kind of comic relief. It's so accurate, the depiction of all the hurt and pain, then at the end they've made up and everything seems like it's perfectly normal again.
The soundscape you made was very interesting. It combined different types of sound samples to create a calm but frustrated portrayal. I liked the use of semantic looking visuals that had a more symbolic meaning to it. The various and different sound loudness helped create the atmosphere. Overall it portrayed the mood very well and said ounces of what you were trying to convey. The ending voice sample really gives it the way the most. I noticed that the song used a lot of directionality as well, but combined it with distance to create a sense of depth. Overall it turned out really well.
