  1. Your stop motion project was pretty good. The plotline was very clear and understandable. The models of the characters were very simple, and easy to get behind. I liked how the shots in the background showed the various people that were there at the time. I thought the scene where the wave destroyed part of the boat was very entertaining. The hue on the animation is very colorful and displays a cheerful mood. The storm character is very humorous, because of him being all green. The lighting in the overall project was pretty straight forward and did a good job making it easy to see everything. The shadows were literally nonexistent, which is not a big deal really. The library has pretty good lighting, so it’s kind of hard to have a shadow there. The tension was a steady build throughout the animation. It slowly built and kept the viewer interested to see what happened next. The overall production turned out well, the slow frame rate helped making the viewer subconsciously wonder what would happen next. The plotline worked pretty well, it was simple and to the point. Overall it worked, and keep it up. I personally prefer drawing the frames myself over stop motion because of the drawings are from your mind. It’s an interesting medium I must say, but I am not very good at using clay. Overall the simplicity that you showed in your animation worked well at proving something can be simple rather than overly complex.
